A step-by-step guide to launching your fundraiser with AI-powered tools, smart imports, and an AI chatbot assistant.

Follow this visual guide to launch your campaign in minutes.
1 Sign Up & Sign In
Head to fundlyhub.org and click "Start Fundraiser" in the top navigation. You can create an account with your email or use Continue with Google or Continue with Apple for one-click sign-up.
Sign in with email/password, Google, or Apple — all options are supported.
Pro Tip
Using Google or Apple sign-in is the fastest way to get started — no password to remember, and your account is secured with OAuth 2.0.
2 Open the Campaign Builder
Click "Start Fundraiser" from the homepage to open the WYSIWYG campaign builder. The page is split into two sections:
- Left panel — Cover photo, title, summary, and your story
- Right sidebar — Goal amount, campaign type, visibility, and custom URL

Pro Tip
Everything you type is shown in real-time, so you can see exactly how your published campaign will look. Your draft is auto-saved every 30 seconds.
3 Add a Cover Photo
Choose a compelling cover image using one of three options:
- Upload — Drag and drop or click to upload your own image
- Stock Photos — Search thousands of free, high-resolution photos
- AI Generate — Describe the image you want and AI will create it AI-Powered

Pro Tip
The AI Generate feature uses DALL-E 3 to create unique, high-quality images. Try describing a scene related to your cause for best results — e.g., "A warm sunrise over a children's hospital."
4 Write Your Story
Tell potential donors why your cause matters. Fill in three fields:
- Title — A compelling headline for your campaign
- Summary — A brief description shown in search results
- Story (150–10,000 characters) — The full narrative of your campaign

Each field has an ✨ AI Suggest button that generates professional content based on what you've already entered. The story editor also has a ✨ Write story button that generates a complete narrative. AI-Powered
Pro Tip
Write your title first — the AI uses it as context to generate your summary and story. A clear, emotional title produces the best AI suggestions.
5 Set Your Goal & Details
Configure the key details of your fundraiser in the right sidebar:

The category is automatically detected by AI based on your title and story content — you can always override it manually. AI-Powered
Pro Tip
Your campaign URL slug is auto-generated from your title. You can customize it to something shorter and more shareable — e.g., /f/help-sarah.
6 Use the AI Chatbot
The Fundraiser Creator chatbot is your AI assistant for building campaigns. Click the 💬 chat icon in the bottom action bar to open it.
What you can do:
- Describe your cause in plain language — the bot fills in the form
- Send a link (GoFundMe, news article) — the bot scrapes and imports
- Ask for help improving your story, goal, or category

Tell the chatbot what you need → it fills in your title, category, and more.
When the bot fills in fields, you'll see a pulse animation on the updated sections and an "AI filled fields" indicator. All auto-filled content is fully editable. AI-Powered
7 Import from GoFundMe (or Any Link)
Already have a campaign on another platform? Import it in seconds:
- Open the AI Chatbot and paste any campaign URL
- The bot scrapes the page and extracts title, story, goal, cover image, and category
- Review the imported data — all fields are pre-filled and fully editable
Pro Tip
This is perfect for migrating an existing GoFundMe campaign to FundlyHub. The bot can import from any public URL — including news articles.
8 Review & Publish
Once you're happy with your campaign, hit the Publish button in the bottom action bar. Before publishing, double-check:
- ✓ Cover photo, title, summary, and story
- ✓ Goal amount and category
- ✓ Visibility (public, unlisted, or private)
The bottom bar — click 'Publish' to make your campaign live.
After publishing, your campaign goes live and is discoverable on FundlyHub. You can always edit it later from your profile. Need to start over? Click Start Over to clear the form — and Restore if you change your mind.

Your draft is auto-saved every 30 seconds, so you won't lose your work even if you close the browser. Come back anytime to pick up where you left off.
