org.read, built for the caller. Counts from the same reads as the surfaces they point at (0 included): join_requests and invites_waiting (the team view's lists; an expired invite waits to be resent), stripe_requirements, registry_renewal (within 30 days, with due), check_failed (the verification view's latest checks), authority_pending. fundly_approvals joins in phase 2. Plus the month-so-far card over the org's own Fundlies' counted gifts (label is the ISO month, e.g. 2026-10).

In the browser, authentication rides on the httpOnly session cookies set by /cognito/signin or the Google / Apple sign-in at /cognito/oauth/{provider}. For scripts and for Swagger UI testing, paste an API key (fh_live_…, created with POST /api-keys); a Cognito JWT is accepted too. Sign-in does not return a token in its body.
